President Tim Laughlin states that, “It’s really nice to know that even though most of the guys in the house seem to have a little ‘too much fun’ on the weekends, that they were still able to grind out an awesome year in the classroom. I’m very proud of the guys, and I hope that this will be a reoccurring trend in the years to come.”
A summary produced by the Office of Greek Life revealed that the All Fraternity Average GPA at Baker University was 2.99 with the University Male Average being slightly lower at 2.94 for the Spring semester. As well as surpassing the All Fraternity and University Male average GPA, SigEp also surpassed the Overall University GPA average of 3.12.
Newly initiated member, Matt Jenkins states, “I’m happy that the majority of our seniors pulled it together in the end, rather than just coast through their last semester like most other seniors seem to do. Since half of our house was composed of seniors last year, it will be crucial for us to have a knockout year of recruitment this coming year. I feel that our achievement this year will help sell the house to possible new members and for that, I’m very proud of the guys’ hard work. It’s great to be a SigEp!”
